Cosmic Vibrations Guitar Company is Kyle Rush, a luthier based in Seattle, WA. 

Kyle’s passions for music and woodworking unite in harmony through instrument making. After mastering the classical shapes, Kyle began designing entirely unique guitars, which deviate creatively from tradition. 

Every Cosmic Vibrations guitar is fully custom, designed from scratch and handmade with the finest materials. They are not only instruments, but high art.

Kyle’s ideas for imagery – planets, especially Saturn, and other celestial bodies, tarot imagery, art deco influences, and a 90s throwback vibe of the early internet – provided me endless inspiration. I spent time with my own collection of tarot decks, pulling out the major arcana cards ruled by Saturn (The Star, The Devil, The World) and examining their shared imagery and themes. 

Kyle chose two of the first round of logo ideas to take through to the end of the design process – the primary featuring a goat’s head, crescent moon, and stars in a cameo-style oval, and the secondary of Saturn set against a wiggly wavy backdrop. Each logo captures the magic of Kyle’s creations, with a groovy movement of shape and line.
